HI, MY NAME IS MADISON SCHRAW!
I have always been a storyteller at heart, and I fondly remember my passion for writing beginning in my grandparents' guest rooms, where I lovingly forced my cousins to act out my plays. My love for storytelling has led me to work in theatre and film, but I have always found myself drawn back to the written word. During my first four years of college, I pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Now, I am extending my stay in Savannah to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing. While at SCAD, I have been given the opportunity to write, direct, and produce several short films. My most notable projects include Lac-Date, which was shown at the Nashville Film Festival and the Austin Comedy Film Festival, and my senior capstone project, Real as the Moon Landing. Though I often stick to comedies, I believe it's possible to discuss meaningful topics using humor and lighthearted themes. My mission is to create relatable stories and characters that bring my audience joy and remind them of good things in the world.
